The School of Engineering and Technology came into existence in 2011, with a clear mandate to build a strong Research and Teaching environment for Engineering and Technology discipline.

The objectives of the School are:

• To impart quality education through a well-designed curriculum in tune with the needs of the industry.
• To provide state-of-art research facilities to generate knowledge and develop technologies in the thrust areas of Engineering and technology.
• To develop human potential to its fullest extent so that intellectually capable and imaginatively gifted leaders can emerge in a range of professions.
• To participate in Research & Development in Engineering and Technology to benefit society. 

The School currently has the Department of Computer Science and Engineering under it.  The Department of Computer Science and Technology offers admission to two M.Tech. programmes, one advance diploma and one post graduate certificate course.
